The large delegation of UN security advisors in Iraq visited the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and during their visit met with the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, at his prayer site inside the holy courtyard while he was working daily to fulfill the needs of the people.
Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai receives thousands of citizens daily, except on Fridays and Tuesdays, after the prayers for hours in order to fulfill their needs from various Iraqi provinces, and to provide medical, humanitarian, social, and financial services through the relevant institutions of the Al-Husseiniya shrine.
Olga Mokrova stated in a statement she gave to Noun News Agency today, Monday, that we visited the city of Karbala today to open channels of cooperation with the United Nations to convey our programs and projects to the cities of Karbala and Najaf.
She added, I was honored today to visit the shrine of Imam Hussein, and this name is considered a source of inspiration for Muslims in general and Iraqis in particular, and even for Christians, and I am one of them.
The official indicated during her talk that she met with Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai while he was performing his humanitarian work and providing services to people at his prayer site inside the burial place of Imam Hussein, and I believe that this place delivers messages to God Almighty as quickly as possible, and I believe that anyone in need of supplication to God should pray in this place.
Mokrova noted during my brief meeting with Sheikh Al-Karbalai, I saw in him wisdom, tolerance, and kindness in conversation, providing services and financial and health support himself to people in this holy place, so I ask him to pray to God Almighty for peace for all the people in this country.
