This Privacy Policy explains how Video Agency (also displayed as Video IQ, and referred to as “Video Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Video Agency mobile application (the “App”). The App provides access to news, videos, articles, programs, polls, and other content from video-agencyia.iq.

1. Information we process

Information processed automatically

When you use the App, the App and the services it uses may process:

Information you choose to provide

If you use an interactive website feature available through the App—such as a poll, form, message, or other submission—we process the information you choose to submit. Please do not submit information that you do not want processed.

The native App does not request access to your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, videos, or files for its current core features.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

We do not sell personal information.

3. Notifications and permissions

The App may ask for permission to send notifications. If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging and OneSignal may process a push token or subscription identifier and notification delivery or interaction information. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. Disabling notifications does not prevent you from reading content in the App.

4. WebView, cookies, and external content

The App displays our website in an embedded browser known as a WebView. Information processed through this WebView is treated as App-related information where we control the website content or behavior.

The website may use cookies or similar technologies and may contain links to, or embedded content from, third parties. When you choose to open or interact with third-party content, that provider may process information under its own privacy policy. We do not control the privacy practices of independent third-party websites.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We may disclose or make information available to service providers that operate features on our behalf, including:

These providers process information according to their terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business reorganization with appropriate safeguards.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain security and operational records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and why it is processed.

Push-notification identifiers may remain active while notifications are enabled or until they expire, are replaced, or are removed by us or the notification provider. Website cookies and local storage may be removed through your device or browser controls, or by clearing the App’s data. Some technical logs may be retained for a limited operational or security period and then deleted or anonymized.

You may request deletion of personal information under our control by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Privacy / Data Deletion Request.” We may need enough information to locate and verify the relevant data. We will delete or anonymize eligible information unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.

Uninstalling the App removes App data stored locally according to your device’s behavior, but it does not automatically delete information already processed by a service provider or website server.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, including encrypted HTTPS connections where supported. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for such processing.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is a general-audience news service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to certain processing of your personal information. You may also:

To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may verify your request and may decline or limit a request where permitted by law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, service providers, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy at a publicly accessible URL and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or website where appropriate.
