Amidi discusses institutional cooperation and legislative coordination with Al-Halbousi.

President Nizar Amidi met today, Monday, with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Haibat al-Halbusi, in the capital Baghdad.

Both sides confirmed during the meeting, which was attended by Minister of Justice Khalid Shwani and was reported by a statement from the media office of the presidency received by the News Video Agency, the importance of cooperation between the Presidency of the Republic and the House of Representatives to enhance integration in institutional work, as well as to discuss coordination in the legislative field and the completion of laws related to citizens' lives and interests.

The statement clarified that the meeting discussed the general situations in the country and developments on the national scene, in addition to addressing several files and issues that require continued work and understanding between state institutions to provide the appropriate legal frameworks to address citizens' needs.
