Basra Oil announces the start of crude oil exports via tankers and reassures employees regarding salaries.

Basra Oil Company announced today, Monday, that it has started exporting crude oil through the Zubair 1 outlet using tankers, while revealing plans to diversify export outlets and routes by creating new land lines supporting the maritime route.

The General Manager of Basra Oil Company, Engineer Bassim Abdul Karim Nasser, stated in a press interview, which was viewed by "Video News Agency", that the company has officially begun exporting crude oil via the Zubair 1 outlet using tankers, indicating that this step is part of the company's efforts to diversify oil export routes and enhance the flexibility of export operations.

Nasser added that the company has plans to develop export sources and methods by creating new land lines that will support the maritime route, which enhances Iraq's ability to maintain the flow of its oil exports.

Regarding employee entitlements, the General Manager of Basra Oil Company confirmed that "the directives of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Oil are clear not to affect the salaries and entitlements of employees," stressing the continued work to ensure their security.
