Iranian President Masoud Bezhashkian confirmed today, Thursday, that Iran will never shy away from dialogue with the United States, as Tehran is considering the U.S. response to the negotiation terms.
Bezhashkian stated, according to the "Tasnim" news agency, that "his country has never shied away from talks and we will never do so, despite the fact that the United States targeted our country three times despite signing an agreement."
On Wednesday, Bezhashkian linked "the sustainability of security" in the Gulf to the responsibility of the countries in the region to maintain it.
The Iranian civil defense also announced on Wednesday that it raised readiness in 46 facilities in anticipation of attacks on infrastructure.
According to its statement, the heightened readiness includes oil refineries, power plants, ports, bridges, and airports.
