Al-Nasiriya prison enhances inmates' communication with their families with 680 telephone booths.

The Ministry of Justice announced today, Wednesday, the provision of 680 telephone booths designated for inmates at Nasiriyah Central Prison, aiming to enhance their communication with their families and relatives.
The ministry stated in a statement received by the news agency, "In coordination with the Ministry of Communications and the General Company for Communications and Informatics in Dhi Qar, the prison has been equipped with an additional 450 telephone booths, bringing the total number to 680 booths."
It added that "this step aims to expand communication services and provide greater opportunities for inmates to maintain regular contact with their families, thereby strengthening family bonds and preserving social ties."
The ministry emphasized that these measures are part of the efforts of the Iraqi Correctional Directorate to develop service infrastructures and improve the level of services within correctional institutions, enhancing the reform environment while considering the humanitarian and social aspects of inmates.
