Iraq and Saudi Arabia reaffirm the importance of continuing coordination to support regional security.

The Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud emphasized the importance of continued communication, coordination, and consultation between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which enhances security and stability in the region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Video News Agency, that Hussein made a phone call on Friday evening with the Saudi Foreign Minister, during which they reaffirmed the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the two countries, in addition to exchanging views on developments in the regional situation and issues of mutual interest. The statement added that both sides stressed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between Baghdad and Riyadh, which contributes to supporting security and stability and enhancing joint cooperation.
