Al-Sha'ar: Iraq stands by the de-escalation and does not accept the option of war in the region.

The political analyst Atheer Al-Shar'a noted that there are attempts to escalate the situation and push Iraq towards war in the region, pointing out that Baghdad stands for calm and does not accept the option of war.

Al-Shar'a said in a press interview that "Iraq firmly rejects any escalation happening in the region, despite the proposed scenarios and the ongoing military escalation at this time."

He added that "U.S. President Donald Trump is heading towards escalation to serve the interests of Netanyahu and the Zionist entity, while the Iranian administration is aware of what is happening, despite its declaration of not wanting to move towards military escalation."

He indicated that "the positions in Iraq emphasize the importance of resorting to a language of calm and not escalating the situation to ensure regional stability and spare it the danger of wars, especially since the leaders of the resistance factions are rational, contrary to what is rumored about attempts to drag Iraq into war."
