Basra heavy and medium crude recorded slight weekly losses, despite an increase in their prices during the last trading sessions, coinciding with the rise of Brent and West Texas Intermediate crude in global markets.
Basra heavy crude rose by $1.09, reaching $74.12 per barrel, while Basra medium crude closed at $78.10, also up by the same amount.
Weekly, heavy crude declined by 0.13%, losing 10 cents, while medium crude experienced a similar drop, losing 12 cents per barrel.
In global markets, West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose to $104.07 per barrel, and Brent crude climbed to $117.41, with gains of 1.98% and 2.20% respectively.
