The Ministry of Justice denied today, Saturday, the arrest of the son of the Deputy Minister of Justice at a checkpoint.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Justice, Ahmad Laibi, stated in a statement received by the "News Video Agency" that "some pages on social media circulated news about the arrest of the son of the Deputy Minister of Justice at a checkpoint, which is completely false and has no basis in reality."

He added that "promoting such news and malicious allegations serves only to harm and defame, undermining reputation and dignity by spreading misleading information and baseless accusations."

The ministry called on "media outlets and electronic platforms to exercise accuracy and professionalism and to verify information before publishing it," noting that "it reserves its legal right to prosecute anyone involved in fabricating or promoting these allegations and taking the necessary legal actions against them."
