Deputy Hiyam Al-Yasiri confirmed today, Sunday, the advancement of the debts file for Korek Company through taking a new step represented by placing a seizure notice on the company's movable and immovable assets and closing several of its headquarters. Al-Yasiri stated in a post on the "X" platform, which was seen by the news agency, that the continuous pursuit of the debts occurred through parliamentary questions and the judiciary, leading to the placement of the seizure notice on the company's assets, noting the appreciation of all oversight efforts that contributed to achieving this step to guarantee rights. Al-Yasiri explained that the seizure action does not necessarily mean that the debts will enter the state's treasury, calling on the Communications and Media Commission to clarify the value of the seized funds and the actual amounts collected, in addition to stating the specific timeline for settling all debts owed by the company.
