The exceptional Jaafari Mufti in Lebanon, Ahmad Qabalan, called on Arab and Islamic countries on Sunday to take action in light of the sensitive conditions the region is experiencing and the crisis in the international system, to reach a common agreement that prevents the stirring of strife and conflict.
Qabalan stated in a message directed to Arab and Islamic countries, which the news agency Video News obtained, that what is needed is to provide the conditions for an Arab-Islamic settlement that closes the door to the deep-rooted American strife that pits Arabs and Muslims against each other and turns them into a market for weapons and nations consumed by the fires of destruction.
He added that Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt, and Yemen are required to hasten to secure a strong settlement based on a common faith identity, away from Washington and Tel Aviv, noting that Saudi Arabia and Iran have the ability to change strategic options and execute a major and different agreement that paves the way for a new phase of cooperation.
Qabalan emphasized that the continuation of differences and rupture gives Washington the ability to implement maps of destruction, stressing that Lebanon and other countries are waiting for any significant regional settlement to rid themselves of strife, and calling on the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to recognize the new conditions, as any gamble in favor of Washington is considered suicide that affects all of West Asia.
