The Ministry of Education directed, today Wednesday, to facilitate the procedures for people with disabilities and special needs.
A statement from the ministry, received by the news agency Video, mentioned that "the ministry, through the Directorate General for General Education and Private and Foreign Education, directed the general directorates of education in Baghdad and all provinces to facilitate the movement and transactions of persons with disabilities and special needs, based on the directives of the Minister's Office regarding human rights".
It added that "the Department of Inclusive Education and Educational Integration emphasized the establishment of clear and specific pathways and entrances for them, placing indicative signs, and granting them priority in completing transactions, while exempting them from waiting in general queues".
The ministry, according to the statement, emphasized "the application of effective legislations and circulars, ensuring ease of access to services, equality and non-discrimination, and preserving the dignity of persons with disabilities and special needs".
