The House of Representatives voted today, Thursday, on the candidates for the cabinet of Ali Falah Al-Zaydi and the positions of Deputy Prime Ministers during its session held in the evening.
A parliamentary source stated to the News Video Agency that the House of Representatives voted to select Laith Al-Khazali, Muhammad Tamim, and Mohsen Al-Mandalawi as Deputy Prime Ministers.
The source added that the vote included the selection of Naif Al-Shammari as Minister of Defense, Yasser Al-Maliki as Minister of Interior, Qa'teeba Ghazi Majid as Minister of Planning, Haidar Bahaa as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Yaseen Al-Aithawee as Minister of Culture.
He continued, "The vote also covered Rybaz Muhammad as Minister of Construction and Housing, Muhammad Al-Mousawi as Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and Safaa Al-Kanani as Minister of Youth and Sports."
He noted that "the vote was also held for Muhammad Saheb Al-Daraji as Minister of Digital Economy, Governance, and Science and Technology, and for Ali Abd Al-Hadi Muhammad Al-Dukhaili as Minister of Tourism, and Muhammad Samaan Kanaan Youssef as Minister of State.
