Al-Zaydi meets Sheikh Al-Saadi to discuss developments and strengthen civil peace.

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaydi received Sheikh Abdul-Razzaq Abdul-Rahman Al-Saadi this evening, Monday, to discuss the various issues and developments in the Iraqi scene, and the government efforts aimed at supporting stability, enhancing reform pathways, and consolidating civil peace.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that Sheikh Al-Saadi expressed during the meeting his support and appreciation for the steps and achievements made by the government in combating corruption, economic reform, and improving the level of government performance and services.

Sheikh Al-Saadi praised the government's success in strengthening Iraq's regional and international relations and establishing its presence and status, noting that these achievements constitute essential pillars in building the state and supporting its capacity to protect its interests and national decision.

He also commended the efforts made to complete the requirements of national sovereignty leading to the complete withdrawal of international coalition forces on the thirtieth of September, stressing that this represents an important milestone in the path to restoring Iraq's full decision and sovereignty.
