Iraqi oil regains momentum in the American market.

 
Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed on Sunday that Iraq ranked tenth among the largest suppliers of crude oil to the United States last week.
According to the data, Canada topped the list of suppliers with supplies of 3 million and 926 thousand barrels per day, followed by Venezuela with 599 thousand barrels, then Saudi Arabia with 347 thousand, Mexico with 297 thousand, and Colombia with 239 thousand barrels per day.
Brazil came in sixth place with supplies of 235 thousand barrels per day, followed by Nigeria with 232 thousand, then Argentina with 173 thousand, and Guyana with 65 thousand.
Iraq ranked tenth with supplies of 46 thousand barrels per day, up from 38 thousand barrels per day the previous week.
The increase in Iraqi supplies to the U.S. market comes amidst fluctuations that have affected exports over the past few weeks, due to the security tensions in the region and their impact on energy supply movements through the Strait of Hormuz.
