The exchange rates of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar rose today, Monday, in the markets of the capital Baghdad and in Erbil with the stock market closing.
A correspondent for the Video News Agency reported that the dollar prices in the two main exchanges of Kifah and Harithiya in Baghdad increased to record 156,650 Iraqi dinars for every 100 dollars, while the prices recorded earlier this morning were 156,500 Iraqi dinars for 100 dollars.
He pointed out that the selling prices in currency exchange shops in the local markets of Baghdad stabilized, with the selling price reaching 157,000 dinars for 100 dollars, while the buying price was recorded at 156,000 dinars for 100 dollars.
In Erbil, the dollar prices also increased, with the selling price reaching 156,400 dinars for every 100 dollars, and the buying price at 156,300 dinars for 100 dollars.
