The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced today, Wednesday, that it is not obligated to any timing or agreement that any governmental or political party may have discussed or will discuss.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that the resistance has engaged for more than forty days through the quadruple committee formed by the coordination framework in agreement with the Iraqi government in negotiations to discuss the organization of the resistance's weapons in exchange for achieving Iraq's complete and comprehensive sovereignty, represented by the withdrawal of American and NATO forces and all forms of foreign military presence from Iraq, land, air, and sea.
It added that the negotiations included the Islamic Resistance's right to directly respond to any American or Zionist breach or violation of Iraq's sovereignty, noting that the Iraqi government's response has not been received until this hour despite the official signing of the agreement paper by the quadruple committee tasked by the coordination framework and the parties of the resistance represented by the four factions.
It continued that the resistance's weapons will remain a trust in the hands of the mujahideen, and its direction will remain aimed at any enemy targeting Iraq and its people, affirming that the doors of dialogue will remain open for any discussions that ensure Iraq's sovereignty, dignity, and liberation from foreign hegemony.
