Extinguishing a fire that broke out after a fuel tanker overturned on the Al-Dora highway.

Civil defense teams managed today, Wednesday, to extinguish a fire resulting from fuel leakage after a tanker overturned on the highway in the Dora area, with no human casualties.

The correspondent for the News Video Agency stated that civil defense teams extinguished a fire that broke out due to the leakage of quantities of kerosene near the entrance to the Al-Saha neighborhood on the Dora highway, next to one of the gas stations.

He added that "the cause of the incident was due to the negligence of the fuel tanker driver for not ensuring that the main valves were closed, which led to the oil spilling over a distance that extended to the slope of the entrance to the area and igniting."
He clarified that "the incident resulted in material damages affecting the facade of one of the restaurants and a small part of the tanker, while six firefighting teams were able to fully control and extinguish the flames without any losses or human injuries."
