The Deputy Chairman of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, "Ali Nikzad," affirmed that the opening or closing of the Strait of Hormuz is determined by the fuel price screens in the United States, not by empty tweets, saying: The Iranian people made their decision years ago to live independently, and they are committed to this decision. Nikzad clarified in his statements before the agenda of today's session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly that it is natural for what is called a "superpower," after tasting the bitterness of defeat against the firm will and steadfast faith of the great Iranian people, to try to avoid acknowledging this crushing defeat through media campaigns, threats, and noise, stressing that reality is determined by the fields, not by empty words. He added: You were supposed to make Iraq the fifty-first state of the United States, but you were forced, amidst humiliation and disgrace, to leave strong Iraq after suffering ten thousand dead and thirty-one thousand wounded. The Deputy Chairman of the Islamic Consultative Assembly emphasized that "the opening or closing of the Strait of Hormuz is determined by the fuel price screens in the United States, not by empty tweets." He said that the Iranian people decided years ago to live independently, and they are committed to this decision, adding: It is in your interest to accept this truth and bow to the will of the Iranian people. Nikzad pointed out that the threats of the deluded American president are aimed at domestic consumption and are intended to influence the American elections, and have no value on the ground. He continued: The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to respond to any new adventure with a stronger, firmer, and crushing reply. The sacrifices made for our dear Islamic Iran, from the capable armed forces and the people ready to sacrifice, are prepared to punish the aggressors from the enemies, making this a lesson for history. Regarding neighboring countries, Nikzad stated: We ask our neighbors to organize their historical and religious relations with our beloved Islamic Iran, far from the threats of the enemies of Islam and their temptations.
He affirmed that "sustainable security and a thriving economy in the West Asia region is a collective achievement that can only be realized through our joint cooperation," adding: External powers sell you dreams and receive payment in cash, but they do not deliver any goods to you. The progress of all countries in the region is contingent upon joint cooperation among the people of this region.
