The head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh Al-Fayyadh, and the Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, discussed today, Saturday, enhancing cooperation on common security issues between the two countries.
The authority stated in a statement received by "Video News Agency" that "the head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh Al-Fayyadh, received today, Saturday, in his office in Baghdad, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan."
The statement added that "the meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey, discussed security issues of mutual interest, and emphasized the importance of continuing joint coordination in the areas of border security, counter-terrorism, and intelligence information sharing."
