Tunisians protested today, Saturday, in the capital in the latest actions of civil and political forces, in response to what was considered a "deterioration of economic, social, and rights conditions" in the country.
This took place during a national march called for by nine organizations and associations, led by the Labor Union, the Bar Association, the Human Rights League, and the Journalists' Syndicate, with participation from 11 political parties.
The march, held under the slogan "Work, Freedom, National Dignity," started from the central headquarters of the Labor Union, then traversed several streets before reaching Habib Bourguiba Street, in the heart of the capital, where the number of demonstrators increased.
