‏The Legal Department at the Ministry of Justice announced the winning of a lawsuit before Jordanian courts, resulting in a decision that obliges a Jordanian company to pay financial amounts to the General Company for the Manufacture of Medicines and Medical Supplies / Samarra, affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.

‏The Director of the Legal Department, Mr. Haitham Mohi Radi, stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency, that this achievement is the result of the continuous efforts made by the Legal Department in following up the lawsuit and defending the Iraqi company's position in all pleadings, which had contracted with a Jordanian company to supply it with medical supplies covers (metal covers); however, the Jordanian company failed to meet its obligations and delivered non-compliant materials to the pharmaceutical company.

‏The general manager added that the final ruling issued by the Jordanian Court of Cassation, which was confirmed by the Court of Appeal and the Court of First Instance, obligated the Jordanian company to pay financial amounts to the pharmaceutical and medical supplies company in Samarra.

‏He confirmed that this achievement reflects the Ministry of Justice's commitment to protecting public funds and preserving the rights of the state and its institutions before international courts, and reflects the level of efficiency and expertise enjoyed by the legal staff in managing international cases.
