The overthrow of the perpetrator of an armed robbery at a Chinese massage center in central Baghdad.

The Baghdad/Rusafa Police Command announced today, Thursday, the arrest of a suspect who carried out an armed robbery by force at a Chinese massage center in the Karada area of the capital, in record time after a strict ambush was set for him.

The command stated in a statement received by the "Video News Agency" that the anti-crime department patrols in Karada managed to apprehend the suspect and seized a sharp object (knife) that he used to commit the crime, noting that he has been detained to take legal action against him.

A video taken by the police command showed the armed suspect storming the center and taking the receptionist hostage at gunpoint, threatening her with the knife to take her gold jewelry and seize the money found in the drawers of the place.

The statement added that the suspect, immediately after taking the contents and attempting to flee quickly from the site, was surprised by the presence of a security patrol stationed in the vicinity, which arrested him red-handed.
