The administrative board of the student club decided to impose a financial penalty on all players of the first football team due to the decline in results and performance level in recent matches.

The media director of the student club, Mytham Al-Husseini, said in a press statement seen by "Video News Agency" that "the club's management has decided to impose a financial penalty on all players, deducting 10% from the value of their contracts, due to the team's poor results and the modest level of performance displayed in recent matches."

He added that "the management is dissatisfied with the results and the levels the team is presenting and feels that the student club's position in the Iraqi Stars League standings does not befit the name of the club, its history, and the ambitions of its fans."

Al-Husseini confirmed that "the penalties will not stop at this point if the team does not improve," indicating that "the management will double the financial penalty if the decline in results and performance continues in the upcoming matches."

This step comes as an attempt by the elegant management to get the team back on the right track and motivate the players to deliver better performances, especially with the club aiming to improve its position in the standings and return to the competition in the upcoming rounds.
