The Iraqi national football team has left for the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the Gulf Cup 27 scheduled to take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the 23rd of this month.
The Iraqi team will face the Omani team next Wednesday, corresponding to September 23, 2026, in the opening of the tournament.
The Iraqi national team's roster for the Gulf Cup 27 includes: goalkeepers: Hussein Hassan, Muhammad Salah, and Ahmed Basil.
The defense line consists of Ahmed Yahya, Mustafa Saadoun, Haitham Jabbar, Zaid Tahseen, Akram Hashem, Yusuf Al-Imam, Mirkhass Doski, and Muhammad Dollar. For the midfield: Ibrahim Baish, Zidan Iqbal, Bassam Shakir, Zaid Ismail, Amir Al-Amari, Haidar Abdul Karim, Abdul Razak Qassim, Karrar Nabil, Muhammad Qassim, Ahmed Qassim, and Ali Jassim.
