The Central Criminal Court announced today, Sunday, the issuance of two sentences against two convicts belonging to the deviant Al-Qurban group.
The judiciary mentioned in a statement received by the Video News Agency that "the first convict, who holds a deviant religious ideology, incited the second convict to commit suicide, and he was sentenced to six years in prison based on the provisions of Article 9 of the Law Prohibiting the Ba'ath Party and Racist, Terrorist, and Takfiri Entities, Parties, and Activities No. 32 of 2016, with reference to Articles 47, 48, and 49 of the Penal Code."
It added, "The same court issued a second ruling against the second convict of simple imprisonment for one year, according to the provisions of Article 9 of the same law, with reference to the provisions of Article 132/3 of the Penal Code."
