The markets in the capital Baghdad
witnessed a slight decline in the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar this morning, Wednesday, compared to the closing of yesterday's Tuesday transactions.
In the main exchanges of Kifah and Harithiya, the selling price reached 157050
dinar for every 100 dollars, compared to 157550 dinars at the end of transactions yesterday, Tuesday, recording a decline of 500 dinars from the previous day.
This decline follows a slight increase that the price recorded yesterday, Monday, returning a sense of anticipation to the market, especially with the rapid movement of prices in a short period, which prompted traders to exercise caution in anticipation of further fluctuations.
In the parallel market (exchange offices), there was a relative stability corresponding to the main exchanges, with the buying price for citizens reaching 157050 dinars, and the selling price for them at 158000 dinars for every 100 dollars, while the price difference remained narrow without causing confusion in daily activities.
