Development papers and infrastructure are on the agenda of discussions between Al-Zaydi and Madbouli in New York.

The Prime Minister, Ali Faleh Al-Zaydi, met today, Wednesday, with the Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mustafa Kamal Madbouly, and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the meeting discussed a number of issues of mutual concern and the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, where Al-Zaydi affirmed the depth and strength of the relationships and shared ties, indicating the possibility of benefiting from the Egyptian experience in developmental and security aspects as well as in infrastructure development.

The statement added that the Egyptian Prime Minister congratulated Al-Zaydi on resuming his position as Prime Minister and extended another invitation to visit Egypt and hold the fourth session of the Iraqi-Egyptian Joint Committee, praising the steps and reforms taken by the Iraqi government in various fields.
