This morning, Thursday, the markets in the capital Baghdad witnessed a slight decline in the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar, compared to the closing transactions of yesterday, Wednesday.
In the main al-Kifah and al-Harithiya stock exchanges, the selling price reached 156,850 dinars for every 100 dollars, compared to 157,050 dinars at the close of transactions yesterday, Wednesday, marking a decrease of 200 dinars from the previous day.
This decline comes after the slight increase in the price recorded yesterday, which has restored a sense of anticipation to the market, especially with the accelerating price movements over a short period, prompting traders to exercise caution in anticipation of further fluctuations.
Meanwhile, in the parallel market (exchange offices), there was a relative stability parallel to the main stock exchanges, as the buying price from citizens reached 156,850 dinars, and the selling price for them was 157,900 dinars for every 100 dollars, with the price gap remaining narrow without causing confusion in daily activity.
