The general director of customs in Ilam Province (West), Sohrab Kamari, announced that in the last six months, goods worth 453 million dollars have been exported through the Mehran international border crossing.
Kamari stated in a statement followed by the News Video Agency that "the weight of the exported goods reached 1 million 46 thousand and 579 tons, exported to Iraq and other countries in the region through the Mehran border."
He added that "most of the exports through Mehran included agricultural products, tiles, ceramics, single-use plastic items, glass, rebar, live fish, iron ore, PVC pipes, and building stones."
