The Iraq Fund recovers 13 million dollars from France.

The Fund for the Recovery of Iraqi Funds announced the recovery of $13 million of Iraqi funds held in French banks under judicial decisions, and their return to the state treasury.

The Chairman of the Fund's Board, Mohammad Ali Al-Lami, confirmed in a statement received by the Video News Agency that "the recovery operation was the result of follow-ups and procedures undertaken by the Fund in coordination and cooperation with relevant international and local authorities, indicating that the recovered amount has been deposited in the accounts of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance after completing the necessary procedures and coordinating with the Arab Swiss Bank."

He added that "the recovery of this amount represents a new achievement added to the efforts exerted by the Fund in tracking Iraqi funds and recovering them from abroad, affirming the continuation of work and coordination with the relevant authorities to recover the funds and assets belonging to the state and return them to the public treasury.
