The Integrity Committee hosted the Director General of the Babel Health Department today, Thursday, to discuss several issues related to the health situation in the province.
According to a statement received by the "News Video Agency," the committee discussed the financial allocations designated for the Babel Health Department within the budget, the funding and expenditure mechanisms, and their adequacy to cover operational and investment needs, as well as the main obstacles facing the department's work.
The committee also discussed the contract with the Turkish company operating Imam Al-Sadiq (AS) Hospital, the mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating its performance, and the actions taken regarding technical and service observations, ensuring compliance with the contract terms and maintaining the level of health services provided to citizens.
The discussion also covered the status of bed capacity in the province's hospitals, expansion projects, adding new beds, and dialysis units, along with rehabilitating and developing several health, emergency, and consultation departments.
The committee emphasized the importance of tracking health files and understanding the actual needs of health institutions, contributing to addressing obstacles and enhancing the efficiency of services provided to the people of Babel province.
