Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaydi received today, Thursday, Stuart Jones, the head of the Middle East Institute for Research and Studies, at his residence in New York, on the sidelines of his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that the meeting discussed regional and international developments, in addition to reviewing the path of economic and financial reforms adopted by Iraq, and the government’s efforts to enhance the investment environment and support the national economy and diversify sources of income.
Stuart Jones praised the success of the Iraqi government in implementing its anti-corruption policies, addressing financial files, and advancing the economic reform process that supports the move towards a more effective economy, stimulating the investment climate in Iraq, and enhancing opportunities for development and investment partnerships with major companies.
