Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaydi directed today, Thursday, to adopt the initiative "National Project for the Technical and Economic Empowerment of Rural Women," which was presented by the Prime Minister's Advisor for Women's Affairs, in celebration of the International Day of Rural Women and in line with the ministerial program.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the project will be implemented extensively in the governorates of Dhi Qar, Wasit, and Maysan, and then it will be generalized to other governorates.
He added that the project serves Iraqi women and enhances their social, economic, and developmental roles, in addition to representing a fundamental contribution to the development of the national economy, protecting the environment, and maximizing state resources.
