Al-Zaydi pledges full protection for the businessman who ousted the undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry.

The Prime Minister, Ali Faleh Al-Zaydi, today, Sunday, honored a businessman who reported to the official authorities about corruption involving the Minister of Industry's assistant, who is currently accused of bribery. He affirmed that the businessman would receive full protection for himself and his family.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a message received by Al-Fidyu News Agency that Al-Zaydi welcomed the businessman and praised his courage and sense of responsibility when he broke the barrier of fear and prioritized his country's interests above all else, indicating that such national stances are a fundamental pillar in combating corruption.

He added that the Prime Minister urged all businessmen to report any instances of extortion they face from certain officials to ensure that legal measures are taken against them.

The statement concluded that the meeting ended with honoring the citizen in appreciation of his courageous stance and national responsibility in reporting the case of corruption.
