A painful blow for Atlético Madrid ahead of the match against Barcelona.. Romero's absence due to injury.

Atletico Madrid received a heavy blow before their anticipated match against Barcelona, scheduled for next Sunday, after it was confirmed that Argentine defender Cristian Romero will be sidelined due to a muscle injury that will also keep him out of his national team’s camp during the upcoming international break.
Romero's absence represents a significant loss for coach Diego Simeone, who relies on his services to strengthen the defense against Barcelona, where Atletico aims to secure a victory and take the top spot in the Spanish league table.
The Argentine defender had previously missed matches against Bayern Munich and Levante due to injury, despite participating in training last week, before his muscle issue flared up again, ruling him out of the coaching staff's plans.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca," Romero's absence will not be limited to the match against Barcelona but will also extend to Argentina's two friendly matches against Uruguay and Costa Rica, scheduled for November 13 and 17, respectively.
