The exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry to Iraq recorded a notable increase during the first eight months of 2026, by 26.2%, reaching approximately 769 million Jordanian dinars, equivalent to nearly one billion US dollars, compared to 609 million dinars during the same period last year.
Data from the Amman Chamber of Industry, which was followed by the News Video Agency, showed that Iraq ranked second among the largest markets receiving the chamber's exports, after India, which had exports valued at about 779 million Jordanian dinars.
The United States ranked third with exports amounting to 625 million dinars, followed by Saudi Arabia in fourth place with approximately 577 million dinars.
The total exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry to Iraq, India, the United States, and Saudi Arabia reached approximately 2.750 billion Jordanian dinars, making these markets collectively account for more than half of the chamber's total exports during the mentioned period.
In the same context, the total exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry during the first eight months of 2026 rose to 5.263 billion Jordanian dinars, compared to 4.822 billion dinars during the same period in 2025, marking a growth of 9.2%.
These figures reflect the continued importance of the Iraqi market for Jordanian products, alongside the growth of trade exchange between the two countries during the current year.
