Abdul Wahid stated in a statement to the Video News Agency that being present in the al-Muthafar Square among community members reflects the trend of moving events from closed halls to public spaces, expressing her happiness to be in Sadr City and the interest of its youth in the subject of books and cultural festivals.
Abdul Wahid confirmed the ministry's readiness to provide any support that would assist youth in these areas, pointing out that despite the prevailing electronic trend, printed books retain their special flavor.
The minister urged the youth agency to return to reading printed books and to establish scientific and knowledge culture, whether printed or electronic, praising the awareness of the youth and their knowledge of what is happening in the world.
