Autumn weather and a drop in temperatures starting next Monday.

The Meteorological Authority predicted today, Friday, an expected decrease in temperatures starting from next Monday.

The authority stated in a statement received by the "Video News Agency" that "the forecasts of the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismology indicate that the weather models received by the weather forecasting department show that the country will be affected, starting from Monday, September 28, 2026, by a moderate air mass coming from Southern Europe, accompanied by a gradual decrease in temperatures in most cities of the country."

It added that "this air mass contributes to more moderate weather during the daytime with a clearer sense of relatively cool temperatures during the night and early morning hours, especially in the northern and western regions and the desert areas," indicating that "this change represents a gradual transition to more moderate autumn weather and a decrease in the intensity of heat that prevailed during the past period."
