The head of the Wisdom Movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, and the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, emphasized the importance of addressing challenges with increased internal cohesion on Wednesday.
Mr. Hakim stated in a statement received by the news agency, "I exchanged congratulations with the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, on the occasion of National Sovereignty Day (the end of the international coalition's mission to fight ISIS)."
Mr. Hakim stressed that "this day represents an Iraqi message of recovery and an international testimony to Iraq's ability to manage its security file without needing others, and it represents the starting point for a comprehensive resolution to the problem of armed groups outside the state."
During the meeting, Mr. Hakim and al-Amiri confirmed "the importance of facing challenges with greater internal cohesion, especially the economic challenge," emphasizing "the necessity of restoring stability in the region and ending the state of war and escalation."
