The director of the Iraqi Fashion House, Najwan Fares Abdullah, stated in a statement followed by the news video agency that the participation of the house reflects the depth of cultural relations between Iraq and China, and the importance of artistic exchange in enhancing communication and rapprochement between the two peoples, praising the efforts of the Friendship Association in organizing joint cultural events.
She added that the show included performance pieces that reflected the diversity of Iraqi fashion, starting from the cultural heritage of the civilizations of the Tigris and Euphrates Valleys to the authentic folk heritage, noting that the segments received praise from attendees and participating delegations for presenting an artistic image that embodies Iraq's civilizational and cultural identity.
For its part, the Chinese association praised the distinguished participation of the Iraqi Fashion House and its role in highlighting Iraq's civilizational identity and enriching the celebration program with an artistic and cultural character.
