The so-called "Mecca Alliance" between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey confirmed today, Monday, that the security of each country is an integral part of the collective security of the three countries, announcing the immediate start of implementing joint defense commitments and the rapid deployment of military forces and capabilities in Saudi Arabia.
A joint statement from the Mecca Alliance, which was reviewed by "Video News Agency," stated that "Turkey and Pakistan commend the readiness and efficiency of Saudi forces in facing threats and attacks."
The statement condemned what it claimed was an attempt to target Mecca and Medina, and the ongoing attacks on cities and civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, announcing the appointment of retired General Noman Mahmood from Pakistan as Secretary-General of the alliance for three years.
The statement emphasized the immediate start of implementing joint defense commitments, providing military forces and capabilities, and their rapid deployment in Saudi Arabia.
For its part, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced that Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey had reached an agreement to provide military forces and capabilities under the Mecca Agreement.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry clarified that Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey condemned the attempt to target Mecca and Medina and agreed to provide military forces and capabilities.
For his part, Mohammad Al-Farrah, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansar Allah, confirmed that the fabrications and distortions created by Saudi Arabia under the pretext of targeting sacred sites were a justification for the timid entry of Pakistan and Turkey into the conflict, paving the way for their participation in the aggression against Yemen, as they watched passively the desecration of Al-Aqsa and the killing and siege of the people of Gaza for two years.
Al-Farrah stated in a press interview reviewed by "Video News Agency" that in recent days, we have fully established our case, showing the Turkish and Pakistani regimes and their peoples our victimization, clarifying that all those lies and fabrications have no basis in truth. As a Yemeni people, we have the right to defend ourselves and confront those who confront us.
He added that we hoped Turkey and Pakistan would play a positive political role or pressure the Saudi regime to stop its criminal and aggressive course. However, it seems that Saudi money has blinded their insights, and the failure to support Gaza will cost them to be dragged into battles and fields where they will lose, while they are on the path of crime and aggression.
Al-Farrah continued, we affirm to all the peoples of the Islamic world that we are moving forward in liberating our country and lifting the prolonged aggression and siege that has lasted twelve years from our land, and that we will confront anyone who faces us, regardless of who they are, even if the whole world gathers against us.
He confirmed that our demands are just and fair, and neither Pakistan nor Turkey nor anyone else would accept Saudi interference in their affairs, or allow it to control their airports and ports or to suffocate their people under siege for twelve years.
It is noteworthy that the Mecca defense alliance is a joint security and defensive agreement signed by Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan on August 7, 2026, at Al-Safa Palace in Mecca, to protect the security of the member states and was signed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
