The Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq announced today, Sunday, the arrest of 55 suspects and the dismantling of networks linked to terrorism, the banned Ba'ath Party, and the leaking of information that threatens state security, organized crime, and deviant movements. This follows a series of security operations carried out in the past few days across 12 provinces.

The statement received by "Video News Agency" indicated that the arrests included 23 wanted individuals connected to the banned Ba'ath Party, 6 wanted for cases of leaking information related to state security, 5 wanted for organized crime, 4 wanted for terrorism cases, and 7 wanted in relation to deviant movements.

All arrests were made based on proper judicial warrants and according to the established legal procedures, according to the statement.

In another statement from the authority, they announced the execution of a major specialized operation that resulted in the downfall of several prominent international drug traffickers.
