The leader of the Shiite National Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, issued a stark warning on Saturday regarding the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation in Sudan, attributing the worsening crisis to foreign interference.

In a post published on the "X" platform and monitored by the "Video News Agency," al-Sadr indicated that this situation threatens widespread famine and disease, as well as an escalating threat of terrorism.

He addressed a direct message to Arab states, expressing his astonishment at the positions of some parties who are not only failing to quell the unrest but are openly "supporting terrorism with weapons."

Al-Sadr stressed the necessity of upholding principles, stating, "If you are not free in your own world, then at least be Arabs, and let the Sudanese people decide their own fate."

He affirmed his readiness to provide the necessary humanitarian support to the Sudanese people during these difficult times.
