The Syrian president Ahmad al-Shara, known as Abu Mahmud al-Julani, arrived this morning, Wednesday, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia heading a high-level delegation that includes the ministers of foreign affairs, expatriates, defense, finance, industry, and the head of general intelligence.
The Syrian news agency "SANA" reported that President al-Shara is scheduled to meet during his visit with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, where they will discuss a number of bilateral topics, in addition to signing several agreements in various sectors.

Upon his arrival at King Khalid International Airport, President al-Shara was welcomed by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Aziz, and the Secretary of the Region, Prince Faisal bin Abdul Aziz bin Ayaf, along with ministers, officials, advisors, and the chargé d'affaires and head of the Syrian mission to the Kingdom, Minister Plenipotentiary Mohsen Mahbash, according to the Saudi news agency "WAS."

This is the second visit of the Syrian president to Riyadh within a month, as he held discussions with the Saudi Crown Prince in the Saudi capital on October 6, which was the first foreign destination for al-Shara after he assumed the presidency of the Syrian Republic last year.
