The Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court issued a severe prison sentence of five years today, Wednesday, against the former Director General of the Salah al-Din Health Department, in relation to corruption cases.
Judicial media stated in a statement followed by the Video News Agency that "the convicted individual benefited from contracts and agreements made at the North Refineries Company."
The statement added that "the sentence was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article 319 of the Penal Code, and by virtue of Articles 47, 48, and 49 of it."
