The prices of "Iraqi and foreign" gold have risen in local markets in the capital Baghdad and in Erbil province on Wednesday, following a two-day market closure for the Arbaeen pilgrimage holiday.

The agency's correspondent pointed out that the selling price for one mithqal of 21-carat Iraqi gold was 867,000 dinars, while the buying price reached 863,000 dinars.
As for the gold prices in jewelers, the selling price for the mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 900,000 and 910,000 dinars, while the selling price for the mithqal of Iraqi gold ranged between 870,000 and 880,000 dinars.
In Erbil, the prices of gold also saw an increase, with the selling price for 22-carat gold at 937,000 dinars, 21-carat gold at 895,000 dinars, and 18-carat gold at 767,000 dinars.
