An earthquake in the Mossad after the dismissal of senior officials in the Iranian file.

The head of the Mossad dismissed the head of the Intelligence Directorate and the head of the Iran Division from their positions in the agency following the failure of the operational plan aimed at overthrowing the Iranian regime in coordination with minorities and appointing other leaders.

Channel 12 reported, citing security sources, that there was a lack of harmony between the two officials and Mossad Chief Gofman, noting that their departure came amid blame for formulating and coordinating the plan that was presented to President Trump but was not implemented in practice on the ground.

The Hebrew channel added that the two officials, who had made significant security contributions, are leaving their positions after their plan to overthrow the Iranian regime turned into a written document and a complete operational plan before ultimately failing in the field.
