The Prime Minister, Ali Falah Al-Zaydi, today, Thursday, directed the representatives of ministries that have not yet appointed their ministers to attend Cabinet sessions and authorized them to manage their ministries until the ministers are appointed, excluding the exclusive powers of the acting minister.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that this directive included the representatives of the ministries of Defense, Interior, Planning, Construction, Higher Education, Culture, Labor, Migration, and Youth and Sports, aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of work, expediting task completion, and preventing delays in state and citizen interests.
He added that the Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Construction and Housing to prepare a detailed study regarding the Fourth Ring Road project in Baghdad, in addition to directing the inclusion of displaced persons from the Yazidi community in Sinjar District, Nineveh Governorate, in the million residential plots project.
